Good day at the field, even though it didn't end all that well. I have some repairs to do! But it could have been worse!

I gotta start carrying some orange juice with me! Or something! I ate some peanuts and raisins, but that's just protein. I could feel it while flying, I should have just put it down.

I replaced the tail bearings, took the tail servo apart and cleaned it with an erasure and even though the tail shaft was new the hub was bent so i straightened that as well, to find that stuff I took the main gear off and spun the main shaft and tail and kept bending things until it was straight, took me a couple hours to get it right it flies like new again.

Sonny, you should carry some REAL honey packets. You shouldn't use it as an everyday thing, but a single packet acts the same as a half cup of juice and acts much faster. Plus they are easier to carry around. Take one, check blood sugar after 15 minutes, then pop another if required to get you through until you can have more complex carbs or protein.

Remember...runways are for models and wings are for fairies.

Man, I was having one heck of flight on the 450 then no tail control. Ugh, I autoed it down into the beans. Zero damage from the landing. Inspection showed the tail slider broke in 2 huh.
Did some solid inverted hovering with the mCPx today too. That was sweet.
All in all a fun time at my buddys house. Too much workeft to have gotten his 450 flying. We will one of these days.

I don't like honey Jon! How do you know so much about diabetes? Do you have it? I like OJ but like it too much. I ate a sandwich on the way to the field thought it would be enough and had some trail mix to.

I've probably got more wrong with me then then rest of you jokers combined ;-)

Bummer about not liking honey. Does work really fast. And the packets are easy to keep in vehicles and HELICOPTER CASES. Corn syrup works well too, but can't say I've ever seen that in individual packets.

Sonny, no they would not be good. They are a plastic gear servo and will not hold up long and MUST be run at or below 6v.

Sonny, those servos seem a little slow and weak at .14s/60 deg and 92 oz-in torque. Compared to the DS610's your running which are .08s/60 deg. and 162 oz-in torque. I know you didnt ask me you asked Steve but too bad.
