Managed to get two flights in. I brought the 90 out that has been giving me fits for the last 4 days for Aaron to look at. Aaron talked for 10 Minutes and calibrated the throttle in 2 minutes. I'm glad he is around that's for sure.

I have been quiet because I have been busy flying this week. I'm no keyboard pilot, you gotta get out and DO IT! My new heli has over 20 flights on it already, I must say, the fury is pretty mean for a 50, it was ridiculously windy today and it did pretty darn good. I'm happy with it, it is gonna get abused this year I can already tell.

BTW.. Bill, how many other people you know could give you a 10 minute rundown on a new radio? LOL...bet you don't have any questions about it now right? Haha. The dx8 is kick ass.

So Bill, you are really liking the new DX8? I hear it has some nice new features, but I wonder how much a regular guy would use all of them. I still use the DX7 and to use the new features with the DX8 wouldn't I have to change all my receivers?

No, it will run on any receiver like a dx7. Anybody would use the features in that radio.

No flying today, total waste of fuel and time when there is gonna be 40 mph gusts

The telementary features would still work? Like engine temp and all that? Wow. I just can't believe how many new transmitters they've put out in the last two years! I should spend my money on fuel and fly more before I upgrade radio's I think. I've got a lot to learn!

Aaron, do you use the AR7100r receiver? I saw where Bob White set one up on a 9303 and used it as a gov, with three rpm settings instead of the two they tell you about in the manual. I'm just setting one up on my 700 with my DX7 and not sure how to do it.

Dang! We'll have to get together soon and do it then! I'm also new with the YS motor and I know you like them. What plug do you use in the 91?

DX7SE & DX8SE sure are nice. And I'm a Futabaguy

The real upside to these DX7SE & DX8SE radios is to be able to use
the new Mikado VBAR 5.1(Spektrum compatible) with some satellites as your receiver, fbl controller, governor and tail gyro. Super clean setup. On sale nowfor $319, just add your gov sensor preference, and the satellite receivers.
