This 6 months off a year makes trying to get skills in this hobby frustrating but somehow other people can do it. My beginning season frustration gets worse every year as I struggle with things I remember being easy for me. The time to get my old skills back so I can try something new seems to get longer and longer every year.
With only 5 flights by mid June I can't really expect much. The only time I got anywhere is when I would do 15+ at a time.

Get your butt out before June then ! Lol
It was already nice in April, but nobody seemed to have any interest when I posted, if the field is too wet then get ahold of me if I'm around I'm more than willing to let you come over and fly in my backyard, it's basically just a corn field or Bean field.

Hey guys, so I'm trying to set up my iKon2 and have a quick question. the swash/blades should be level to the ground when I'm setting it up correct? The first time I went through it I was having to set my end points at some wacky settings to get them to 100/100 and then I realized the heli was not level so I'm just curious if that could be the reason. Thanks.

Being level during setup is not needed
Your just centering servo arms doesn't have any effect on the outcome at that point

I see a clearing line coming so I think I will head out. I found out last week I don't mind wind if it is above 80. I have to get out to that field at least once before July.
