so, i am finally starting on my NH90. it has been over a year since i wanted to start this project but today i finally did something. i have printed out my plans and transferred them to wood and made profiles out of it. i really want to make this one electric. i will be slightly bigger then the century blackhawk. i am not sure what motor or battery pack i would need. any suggestions? i would like to turn a 1600mm main rotor head (4 blades) and a 4 bladed tail rotor.
in the mean time here are some pics.

that's pretty interesting. You should be able to make a nice cockpit area front and back using this approach. Looking forward to it. Wish I could be of some help.

Here is very nice set of mechanics that are produced and sold by Baumann. I believe it would work for your application. Click on the link or copy and paste the web address into your browser and it will take you right to it.

to ruddernate: that is the plan i have for the back and front, i already have the front taken care of. drew it for a graupner NH90 but the beauty of digital files is that they can be re sized.

to richard morgan: that looks nice, i looked on the site but could not see what kind of motor goes inside.

The motor is hanging out back there. I can't read from the pic but that is an Actro outrunner motor, probably a 32-3.

It is actually an Actro 32-4 heli motor. I spoke to a Baumann rep. and that is the motor they recommend. He did say others will work as long as you stay within the same power and kv rating area. ie:10s and 415kv or there abouts.
