Hi,

I already have a Protos and love it but I was wondering what the advantage of the flybarless is? What advantage does it give you? Do you have to constantly fiddle with it? Is it worth doing?

Any thoughts or opinions are greatly appreicated.

Flybarless on the Protos is a dream.
It makes the Protos very stable and smooth while maintaining the agile, floaty characteristic the Protos is famous for.

it improves the overall flight charachteristics imo and offers many advantages.

My take on a FBL Protos (from the limited flights I got before winter hit...)

I agree with what was said already. More stable yet agile.
I'll add that mine seems to have more power, feels more precise and locked-in and flight time has increased. Also, it feels more floaty in an auto.

BTW, I'm using Mini VBar.

Im looking at getting a protos and would like to go the FBL route myself, what does it take to convert the head to FBL? Is there a conversion kit or is it just a few small parts extra to buy?

I have a hard time converting mine. It flies so well with the stock head.

I have never flown the stock one, but my flybarless one flys just as good as my logo 500.

It flys so much better than my trex 500. It is a great flying heli, nice and floaty even with my older 6S lipos.

I think it is not possible to prove. To each their own.

I feel that my Logo 600 is more precise and feels much more connected (I guess it is because of the size). Powerwise... my Logo is crazy, and Protos is crazy too thought I have fun with both of them

same as dmitry I have several Logos, while the Protos does fly well the Logos are just another step up for sure.
