Little OT but yes the IRS is gonna help me out with my raptor. Gonna upgrade from a OS32 to OS37 supposedly gives the R30 the power of a 50. The reason for me doing this and going to add a longer boom and belt is to put it in a fuselage. Comes in red or blue blue is my favorite color but red is very visible. So I am not sure which color?

If I were to get a refund, the IRS isn't funding anything because that money was mine in the beginning . Seriously, my wife (Chief Financial Officer ) and I sit down at the beginning of each year and plan our annual household financial budget. Part of that budget includes my heli/airplane hobby expenses. We just completed our budget for 2010 and I negotiated a 10% heli/airplane budget increase over 2009 . My heli/airplane budget for 2010 is $2,400, which is very reasonable. I doubt that I will end up spending my budget this year. I'm pretty content with my fleet of helis at this time...the Mini Titan and EXI 500, but I may add another heli this year. However, I am looking at buying a couple of additional airplanes. By the way, I'm curious about what you guys spend annually on this hobby?

You have increased you models by at least 50% so you should have negotiated for 50%.

Racin Does this budget have a 1300 page document describing the plans for a bailout?

I cant budget my salary due to the swing it see's I have an hourly wage therefore my hobbies usually fall into overtime pay. A Saturday or two can easily buy a kit. Before Xmas I had to work 86 hrs in one week Lets just say Poland is looking at equipping the whole country with mobile DTV getting 2 1/2 times salary for 26 of those hours. That bought my Futaba 10CG.

To show the swing in my salary for example:

We had cutbacks all summer was reduced to 32hr work weeks which was great for flying. And being hourly ironically with end of year overtime I made $3000 dollars over my base pay for 2009. And I only spent around $2000 give or take.

Need to talk to the wife about rollover hobby dollars my count I should spend an extra grand this year.

I am not sure what it will be but I bet I can find a couple grand of stuff I think I need his year also. Like racin I too fly planes and big ones that really helps out.

She only has to not stop me from getting what I want

It will probably be a 600 sized electric, a bunch of batteries and maybe a 1.20 sized plank. I already have some $$ stashed for some small ducted fan jets (disposable planks) I've been eyeballing.

Yea, I noticed that about the 600. What's up?

I am waiting to see if an EXI 600 comes out. I know an HK600 is comming already.

I already have a 75cc gas so that is covered. I rarely seem to ever have a full day of flying to justify taking it out, and setting it up at the field. The 75cc is also stored way in the back of my basement.

1.20 is probably the biggest I can go and setup quickly.

Ain't that the truth. I suppose you try to break even for the year? Not owe anything or get a refund.

If your wife is the CFO, then that makes you the . . . ?

It helps to think of it as a refund and the government giving you back money. So the truth doesnt hurt so bad.

When in the back of your mind you know its taxation without representation the very reason we came to America. Although there is no set law requiring you to pay income tax you go to jail for not doing so.

Now that's Dam depressing glad I will be buying stuff I want with the little money that gets returned to me from the loan I gave to my Uncle Sam.
