Do Tablets need a protective plastic? I was just wondering how durable the writing surface of the tablet are and if they get damage or scratch easily through repetitive writing usage.

Thanks

I have a Gateway convertible that took a month or so to wear the coating off in spots. I would say put some protection on your tablet screen.

I have a Lenovo X61 thinkpad tablet for work. The screen is the same as any other computer. Works great.
