When i set up my rudder servo the tail shaht will not slide back and forth i have to manually slide it back and forth to lossen it up. I put oil on the shaft and slide it back and forth it moves but with some resentant. so when i hook the servo link it will not move at all its binding the tail is not moving at all and the servo is centered and the tail is centered but it will not move back and forth at all.

So what your saying is the that the tail pushrod will not move..??

Disconnect the tail pitch slider and check it again.

Most likely the slider bushing or tail shaft has some burrs on it binding the thing up.

Disasemble

Start taking the tail apart, one piece at a time till you find the binding part.
might check the black plastic pivot arms that connect to your grips.
Easy to over tighten them or get some lock-tight on the bushings. this will cause binding, especially at end points.

I found that if you over tighten the screws that affix the pitch slider to tail grip piece onto the pitch slider bushing is deforms the end of the pitch slider bushing and causes binding. Just clean the screws well and use loktite and don't over tighten it. It should be fine.

Yeah I bet the bellcrank is to tight. Like said above, the 2 little screws that hold the forks to the slider also, I had to keep mine a little loose on my old raptor or it wouldnt move.

On a couple of 700 tails I have had to sand the ends of the pivot arms that connect to the grips. What I had to do is sand the ends of the hole that the bushing and screw goes into. You want the bushing to stick out of the hole very stightly on either side of the arm or else the screw will clamp down on the plastic on the blade grip side, and the forks will clamp down on the plastic on the other side. You want them to be clamping down on the bushing.

I would not recomend doing this. This helicopter is designed so you tighten everything down nice and tight. You may need to slightly adjust a couple of parts though.

As I specifically said "Raptor" -plastic tail grips- BTW the little forks that hold the slider to the blade grips have a little brass sleeve in them...everybody knows that... but I leave a gap, im talking a fraction of a millimeter gap in there and use the locktite for what its meant for, to hold the screw in. You wont have that smoothness in the tail if your reef everything in even if theres a washer inbetween....just my oppinion....maybe thats why I have never stripped a head on any of my frame bolts either..I dont know if I would want my grips clamped on the bushing...seems like a recipe for deformity.
