Just wanted to know if anyone is running RF 3.5 with Windows 7 and if there are any problems installing or running?

I've tried several times the last couple days and haven't had much luck. During the install it just quit responding. I ejected the disk and put in the second one. I don't know how but I got it to install the files. I did get to fly a plane a couple times. The third time I tried to open RF it all of the sudden closed and the icon was removed from desktop. I've uninstalled and reinstalled it several times since and can't get it to work. Really wish I could get this figured out. With this happening I hate to try 4.5 or 5. If anyone has any ideas please let me know.

But, an awful lot of us still use and are very happy with 3.5.

Anyone else?

Hey fella's,

Okay, I have upgraded my 'puter to windows 7 from Puksta. I hated vista with a passion. NONE of my programs that were designed for windows xp would work on vista, my printer wouldn't work either. Heart break and woe.... Well, windows 7 is wayyy better, wayyy faster, wayyy less bugs, and guess what? All of my xp stuff works, even my printer! so when you go to install ANY xp driven program, go to my computer, RIGHT click the cd, go to TROUBLESHOOT COMPATIBILITY, and windows 7 will automatically see it as a xp program and set values so that it will run in, you guessed it windows xp!!!! Keep in mind that I am using a 64 bit version, which if you had 64 bit vista, ANYTHING xp or below would not be compatibile with it. I Love 7. it is like xp on cocaine pumping steroids!

Well, I think I have mine working. I had to buy a retail version of 7. My wife tried to get me a copy from the college she works at but it didn't work. It had it's own product key but gave me all sorts of problems. Retail copy seems to be working fine.

No problems with G3-3.5 on my machine. BTW, you can do a full install even if you have the upgrade version of windows 7.
My method was a backup of all files to my secondary HD then a full format of the HD. Then a full install of win7 with the upgrade version. Worked like a charm.

Walk on water long enough, eventually you will get your feet wet.
