Could some one tell me what the tail servo output on a AR 7000 spectrum reciever is please, I need to know if I am going to need a stepdown to a futaba S9257 Thanks guys

I believe the AR7000 does not contain a regulator like the AR7100R which DOES have a 5.2v voltage reg for the tail servo.

You probably need something like this....

Much cheaper to use a stepdown for the voltage, but thanks for the voltage info,I shall fit a stepdown before flying it.

Ive had good luck with the spectrum duel reg . It is small and cost effective.

I stole it ,flew it and gave it back ;)

Life Pack

Just run a Hyperion life pack, and a new Aligne 650 tail servo and no need for regulator or step down.
Nice and clean and less chance of failure.
Just another option

Yes the 7000 has no internal reg.
A Spektrum VR5203 Dual Output Regulator would do the trick.
