Just like in RC -- while inverted, down is up and up is CO$TLY.

Looks like he only got bruised up a bit -- mostly in his wallet.

You have to willing to pay the cost to be the boss. For me I was less fortunate, lots of broken bones and head trauma.

I got the unfortunate roadside opportunity to witness a Hayabusa flip in similar fashion as the OP's vid. Every Sunday night the bikes come out to this 4 lane, undivided road to drag race. They line up side by side and go as soon as the pair in front of them cross the finish line. This goes on until the police show up and write everyone in sight a ticket for illegal drag racing or spectating illegal drag racing. This night they were a little late showing up.....
The guy riding the Hayabusa had tennis shoes, gym shorts, and a tee shirt on. The bike flipped when he shifted. Needless to say this kid left an astronomical amount of flesh out on the asphault. It happened at night and ended with a spectacular fire. The asphault wore through the engine case and the oil caught fire.

The Starboyz are friends of mine. I have a helluva lot of respect for them. They practice at a nearby airport (yes the runway is closed) and at their own facilities. But, I never see them getting crazy on the roads. Knuckleheads who ride like that in traffic deserve much harsher punishment than they ever get. I have no tolerance for idiots endangering everyone else on the roads.

Yep, and after 2 of them were killed they stopped doing it. In their more recent videos, you will notice that all the "in traffic" scenes are staged. They close the roads, use professional drivers and camera crews, including helicopters. If you watch closely, you'll catch glimpses of EMS vehicles, the police, and barricades. They also use old footage mixed into the new videos.

In the first video the rider that flipped is real stupid, you can tell by the way he starts leaning before the turn even though the turn at his speed does not require any leaning. Plus he passed on the outside of a turn and over a double yellow line. He barely had riding skills to begin with and should have styed with both tires on the ground.

So long and thanks for all the fish!

Can anyone tell what the speed limit sign said? Looked like 30 to me. And the speedo on the trailing book looked like it said 68 at one point. That is just being an asshole.
