I've learned my lesson over the years and won't fly below freezing, 32 degrees F. (0 deg. C) It's insane to fly in cold weather really, even with a radio mitt you can't concentrate on flying because you're thinking of that biting wind eating at your skin. Today it was 20 degrees with a windchill of Zero. Nice!

I flew in -15f today. I had to put a few lipos into storage and discharging them on a charger is no fun.

Nearly 70 today, perfect blue sky, just enough wind to shoot about 50 autos.

I put 2 flights in today between rain clouds. Felt good to shake up the N9. I think I need to move somewhere warmer.

I went flying today !!!!

Sure I did !!! I'm telling you !

Let's see : We had so much snow it literally canceled Christmas, that was around 24 inches, at once! and with 35 mph winds. Big drift's - I almost had to exit a window .

Then theirs been a couple of 4" inchers - since. !!!!!

Then last nite we hit a "actual" 24 BELOW ) { have no clue what the windchill on that one is } -- then as we speak the white witch is still coming !!! with at least 4" --

{ Worse part is we usually don't get it till around February !!! and we are out of places to put it !! }

As we speak the snow in my drive is 3X this high !

Were not going to get out till JUNE !!!

I've flown a tank every day since Thursday. Yesterday, got two tanks in. A little snow hasn't stopped me. Nitros are sure tricky to start and stay running though with the temps in the 20s. All my needles are in the ballpark, but I've found my Raptor still likes to run a little lean unless I set the high speed almost slobbering rich.
