Hello guys... just came from the field today to help some friends out on their heli (AP) set-up.

His radio was the T9CHP (9C) non-super. I just noticed that it was advertised and sold as a 9-channel radio however I can't seem to access the 9th channel?!

Sorry if this is old topic but I can't help it and ask why and where can I find access to the 9th channel. My friend needs the 9th to switch an accessory on his aerial photo machine set-up.

Many thanks for any info.

You need to use a Futaba 9 channel PCM receiver, and the transmitter needs to be set to PCM modulation in the parameter menu.

Then its only on/off, it can't be used for mixing and you can't set the end points.

Hi Lewd Skywalker,

The T9CHP Super is in fact an 8+1 channel transmitter.

Channel 9 is only visible in the transmitter T9CHP in PCM modulation under the AUX-CH menu.

In this menu you will be able to select which switch you want to assign it and the reverse function is the same menu.

You will not see it in the servo, reverse, end point and fail safe menu.

I presume the T9CHP non Super is the same.

Thanks to all for the replies.

Well that explains it. Both T9CHP that we set-up are non-super, the other was using a Spektrum DM8 module (thus 8ch) and the other was set to FM/PPM mode.

Anyway, thanks again for the explanations, we'll use a 149DP PCM RX and try the 9th channel.
