Hi
I recently purchased a Trex 500, I finished it today.
I am using two 11.1 - 2200mah in serie.
I connected all the wires to the receiver, an AR7000, but it seems that the ESC does not detect it.
All the servos works, but the throttle channel does not respond and the ESC only do the first 3 "bip" sound, the once for the "power connected".
I tried to connect another receiver and I have the same problem.

Somebody had the same problem?

Please helppppppppp me!

Happy new year!!!

M.-

Just a guess but try reversing the throttle channel in the radio. It sounds like it might be arming in setup mode. Chuck

Hi
No, I already tried it.
It seems that it does not detect the receiver because the only sound I can hear is the sound that indicates "power on"

Another idea?
Thanks for your post.

Another idea ishave you moved the throttle trim from it's position that you bound it in? Just to verify that you have the esc plugged into the throttle channel. Trying to come up with ideas for you. Chuck

I plugged a servo in the throttle channel and it does not work.
It is very strange, because I had the RX in another model and it worked.
I dont know if the ESC burned the throttle channel of my RX

Also check your throttle curve in the radio before you run thru the setup. Has to be 0,25,50,75,100 otherwise it may not select the setting your trying to program.

I plugged a servo in the throttle channel and it does not work.
Im not sure this really proves anything more than you already know if its still going through your ESC, you would have to use a seperate power supply and bypass the ESC to check if theres a prob with that receiver channel.

If your using the stock Align ESC. Do you have it pluged into the throttle channel? That is how you power the reciever thru the throttle channel if your not using a seperate BEC.

Try lowering your throttle end points on your tx. Max it out if you have to that arm the esc.!. Also might want to see your throttle hold end points also.

Hi

Really, its very strange, because the RX receives power from channel 1 (throttle channel), but it does not work. The other channels works fine.
I connected another RX and it works, so is not a program problem.
Maybe the RX came broken????

If you can power the reciever using any other channel or battery port then yes you have a bad reciever. Sounds like one of the pins is broken off the board inside of your reciever for the throttle channel. If you can program the ESC using another reciever with nothing connected to the reciever other than the throttle channel then you know you have a bad reciever.
