Happy New Year all helicopter afficianodos!

I am building my 2nd Trex 600N Pro. I can't decide what battery to use. I was planning to put in a Duralite 5200mah 7.4V Li Ion with 5.3V reglator but I am coming out nose heavy. The older Duralite 4 cell redundant packs were smaller and balanced correctly.

Li Ion packs can only output 2C so a 2C Li Ion pack of 2,600mah will output 5.2A which is probably enough. This is not recommended by Duralite for a 50 size helicopter. I have Futaba 9255's on cyclic and I fly aerobatics including inverted hovering but no 3D yet.

I have never used a LiPo receiver pack and regulator. What are good brands and sizes? How about regulators?

What is everyone else doing?

Thank you.

Damn it Jim I'm a doctor not a flying monkey!

I am using the Arizona regulator with a Hyperion 2500mah lipo.
Good setup with lot's of power. I am only doing lame 3D but my power usage is around 300mah per flight, at 8 minutes.

Velocity 50 FBL, Trex 600 FBL, Frenzy V2 FBL
