I just checked and the heli came with 2 gear sets.The one thats on the heli is a 91T main gear and 11T pinion and the other one that came with it is a 93T main gear and 10T pinion.

The Raptor 90 I have I won in a give away/raffle along with some of the things I got for it.Since I got the OS motor I told the guy I got the TT 90 Pro from I would send it back if he wanted me too but he said I could get rid of it for things I need for the heli .Once the OS motor shows up im thinking about putting it up for trade for a good pipe so i'll see what happens when the motor shows up.

91T and 11 T would give you a reduction ratio of 8.27:1.
93T and 11 T would give you a reduction ratio of 8.45:1.

91T and 10T --> 9.1:1.
93T and 10T --> 9.3:1.

which one should I go with for 3D haha .

With the motor, if I might suggest, I would use the 91 Main and the 11 pinion and plan on targeting 1950 for idle up headspeed. This will put you in the sweetspot just a little over peak power so when you load the machine it is right at peak.

Cool,it allready has the gear and pinion on it.I allways set 2 idleup's so i'll set idle 1 to 1850 and idle 2 to 1950.I kinda know Big D's brother and I plan on flying at there club this summer so im sure i'll see you there.I fly with the michigan whirlybirds but noone has a cline mod so I think i'll wait till I come out your way to run this motor.I plan on getting a new set of bearings and ring so the last thing I wanna do is screw this motor up.Im not saying im bad at tunning because I ran over 30 gallons through a hyper 50 with not one issue.Once I feel good about tunning the 3 needle carb i'll put my new parts in it and re-break the motor in.I guess I rather have someone show me in person if thats cool with you?

Sure no problem. With you putting a new ring in it, you will need to treat it like a new engine and with a nice slow break in. I have to admit I used to be alot faster on breaking in a motor but I followed a slower approach with my HZ and when it came alive it really made power. Taking yours nice and slow (it does take patience) will really pay in the end.

Also when you open it up take a note on what shims you have installed. Look forward to seeing you when it warms up

Yeah I allready plan on putting 1 1/2 - 2 easy gallons through it when the new ring gos in.Im pulling it apart as soon as it gets here to check the bearings so i'll see what shims are in it too.I'll keep in contact for sure,this summers going to be a blast and I can't wait .Thanks man .
