I just ordered the head upgrade for mine,I should have it in a couple of days,Im going to put it on as soon as I get it,I will let you know then,I like the one I got for Christmas,I have seen some posts from people that are a bit disappointed with this heli due to the tail,In my experiance with this type,The tail motor cannot react as quickly as a servo on a pitch tail,So the yaw on these little birds take practice,Once you relize the limitations of tailmotors with fixed pitch,They are alot of fun,Got about 15 flights on mine with the brushless upgrade and im very happy with it.

I think the metal head will make it perform like a Walkera 4G3, little bit smoother.

Coming out of heli retirement...

No I own 5 other helicopters,Nitro and electrics,Been flying helicopters for about 4 years,Airplanes since 1970,I kinda have not been doing much flying lately, And then got the Novus for christmas,One of the things I was doing prior to that was putting an MD500 body on a t-rex 450, And was having some shakeing issues with it. This little heli has got me back interested in it and im working on that again.
I definatly not a newbe but no expert. Usually I avoiding breaking things. And I do fly basic areobatics,
