45°F and cloudy in Vegas. I put three packs through a 450 and did a couple hours of slope soaring with the motor glider at the 50' earthen dam.

Pretty flippin' hard to see the flippin' birds while cross-eyed though.

One tequila, two tequila, three tequila FLOOR.

Great day here to fly but I ended up getting the dog washed and going to JC Penney with the wife. Not a good way to start 2010.

One mile of road will take you one mile. One mile of runway will take you anywhere in the world.

I did get out today and flew about a gallon in my 50. I went to fly the 90 and the onboard pack was below flying voltage, so I called it a day. A good day above freezing partly sunny

I made a mistake once, but I was wrong?

We must have been the lucky ones here in the North East! We had well over 30 degrees and sunny most of the day! Pretty much a perfect day with no wind and the sun shinning most of the afternoon. We had our annual New Years day fly in at our field and the guys broke out the grill and did up some hot dogs and cheeseburgers. It doesn't get much better than that. It's all plankers except for me and one other Heli guy. I flew a couple of planks and got a couple of flights in on a T-Rex. I had my Spectra in the truck but it hasn't been up yet and I don't like to maiden a Heli with a bunch of people around in case anything goes wrong. It will have to wait for another day for it's maiden. With a start like today, all I can say is look out 2010. It going to be a great year flying wise!

Happy New Year to you all!

Just got in from taking a few flights with my new SDX. Still trimming it out but flies great. The synergy stayed in the car.

Matt, that did not sound like a glitch; something in your tail let go
or other problem??

3 flights on the Logo10 near the end of the day; little bit of hovering, some nice tame circuits, no aeros.........18* and bit of snow in the air. Was happy w. that to start the year!

3 flights for me in about 2 M.P.H wind and -3 celcius with a covering of snow. Fingers were starting to hurt at the end of the third flight but it was worth it!

If it doesnt move and its meant too... use WD 40. If it moves and its not meant too...use duct tape!

Ok that video was funny as hell, couldn't stop laughing.

Anyway it was 37 deg, little bit of sun, little bit of wind, little bit.
Burned couple tanks of fuel and loved every second of it didn't realize how fast these heli's really can be

I said to myself "first time on new years day for me to get a couple flights in to start the year off".
Best part of the day was getting the rocket me and my son built together in the air for the first time before I flew my heli's.

Even the dog got a chance to push the launch button he didn't like it to much
Happy N-Year everyone.

This hobby sucks, when your not flying.

25 degrees out today and I haven't flown in 4 months!

I have 8 gallons ready for next year and I am currently getting my mini titan e325 ready.

I can't stand the cold temps anymore and would love it if I could move to where it is warm out all year round!

Made it out today :)

Temp was 37, overcast and 2 to 3mph wind and 2 inches of fresh snow cover from last night.

Executed rolling autos today, a first for me for the New Year and on several attempts managed 3 rolls no more on the way down. No balls to try a 4th roll even though I wanted to, felt that altitude was getting too low even though I was stopping the rolling at least 100ft up. Going home happy was more important than a 4th roll!

Added 4 flights to the Minair 1005 gasser for a grand total of 2242.
