If you like it buy it. I mysef never go on what others think. If the vehicle does what I want and I like the styling then I buy it.

I like the looks of the Enclave. I've never owned a Buick but when I was a kid my dad had a Buick Riviera. I loved riding in that car and it was extremely smooth.

I like the Lacrosse personally. As far as suv types, I prefer 04 and earlier Jeep Cherokee and Grand Cherokees. Might not be as refined as an Enclave, but with real axles the Jeeps will offroad a hell of a lot better. Even if you don't offroad often, it's nice to know you can. I guess Enclaves are fine as pavement pounders/snow rigs. I have a hard time considering a $35,000 Enclave when my 02 Grand Cherokee cost me $4000 from a dealership going out of business and liquidating their stock.

If you like the Enclave, and don't mind spending the loot, buy it. Who cares what other people think, this isn't junior high school.

I think they are very nice. I work at a Buick Pontiac GMC dealer and it is my favorite of all the vehicles we sell. I am married with one kid so that might have something to do with it. Just so you know the GMC Acaidia, Saturn outlook, and Chevy traverse are all the same as the Enclave just slightly different looks and options.

I agree with JasonJ. I don't like the somewhat new "SUV" phase people are in. Most of them are just souped up station waggons or luxery cars with 4WD. I don't even like Hummers, at least the civilan version. I think it's just a GMC drive train and frame with a Hummer body. Most of them are just fancy pavement pounders anyways. I bet most people who buy 40K + suv's are afraid to even take them on gravel roads afraid of scratches.

That's exactly what it is. The Yukon to be exact. The H3 is based on the Colorado chassis.

You couldn't pay me to own an H2 or H3.

Now, give me a barebones military surplus AM General Humvee, I'll be all over that. Go wheeling, and hose the thing out when you are done. Nothing fancy at all.

Yep, the only thing about them I don't like is the size. Too big for serious wheeling. I'm going to get me 4 runner, take everything out, spray the floor with bedliner and only put the seats back in. I'll add a floor drain somewhere. Should make it easier to clean.

Thx for the comments.

Well we purchased one and my wife loves it. I would too if I drove a Rav4 for 12 yrs. It took 6 months for her decision on which vehicle she wanted.

I like it too but I am more truck fan but overall I am impressed with this enclave but pricey but if the Mrs. is happy I am thrilled.
