I've been flying helis for over 10 years and never had an electric. I would love one to keep in the car for that quick flight here and there. I was checking out the Trex 450 Pro and the Protos 500. The thing is when I see electric I think of cheap electric toys and cant seem to get past that thought. Wierd I know but true. So what do I do? LOL

You get one of those little sound boxes (seen people use greeting card recorder and their own speaker) and you record your nitro heli and loop it for when you fly the electric

Dead rite about a 12s.IT NOT SOUND LIKE NO TOY!!!
For my money, and it was! I like my trex 500, fly's good parts easy to get, I love my nitro's but for convenience you can;t beat an electric, but thats my opinion, and I am sure there will be other recomendations

Too keep in your car? I have a Align 450pro, easy to find a place to fly it any time during the day. Yes small like a toy but flies great.

Want

I have both the Proto's 500 and Trex 450. It is hard to say depending on your flying style, but both are great and both fit in your car, for small fields the 450 but anything else the Proto's as it is a full 3D machine and a bit easier to see.

My 500 flies closer to my 600e than compared to a 450. A toy it is not.

Got to have my cup of heli in the morning.

Thats why I sold my 500esp. Already have a 600E and 700E. I just bought a Rave for park flying The Trex 500 is a hair to big for small parks.

The funny thing is I got the 400 and I'm already checking out the 500. I hope this doesn't turn into an addiction or I won't have any nitro helis left.

well once you fly electric for awhile, the plug and play is "HIGHLY" addictive that is for certain, just take your time educate yourself as much as possible and you will have a good E - experience indeed.

...Once upon a time there were Nitros, flybars and frequency pins...

I don't know how big your parks are over there, here a 450 at the otherside of a park would be a dot, if you could see the dot!!
