I just purchased one from Brian at Tanicpacks.com with a very nice 30Amp power supply. Looking forward to getting it and would love some feedback from others who own it.

I was very impressed by Brian's knowledge and willingness to help me, this battery connection situation is overwhelming.

I recently went RC toy crazy, Helimax AXE 400, CP for my son. An upgrade brushless motor kit for my trainer plane. So I needed a new charger.

Have two.

Love both.

Easy to program with little reliance on the manual except for some of the tertiary functionality.

You should be most pleased.

Are you using an AC to DC power supply, if so how many AMPS?

Ben,

Why did you choose this charger?

To hover is divine, the alternative is rather PLANE.

For the money, no other charger of which I am aware has its features AND the 250W ouput capacity.

I needed to charge two 6S 5000 packs and I wanted features like storage mode, cell IR, and multi chemistry. A new TP1010 set up would have been well over $600. CellPro $400. Hyperion $300. The 106's cost me $119 each.

I am glad I made the same decision.

By the way I see you represent Esprit Models. Looks like a fine shop. Do you fly electric planes as well?
They are in Florida, do you spend the winters here? I live in Miami.

No Neal, I fly helis only. I'm freezing my butt off up here in VA, but there is something to be said for a four season climate.

Please let me know if you need any more help.

I like mine. Charges 5000mah 6S batts quick! Twice as fast as my b6 50W charger. I can put two batts on side by side and charge supposedly at 5A and the 106B charges truely at 5A while the 50w charger only puts out 2.2 even though it has the option for 5A. I need another 106 cuz I've got 2 more 5000 packs coming for the trex 600 ESP!!!
