I would love to get into Falconry. But it takes a lot of time and dedication.

My brother found an eagle with a fractured wind and it was going to die but he put gloves on and the eagle didn't even try to hurt him its like he allowed my brother to help him.

He took the eagle directly to the fish and game and they told him if he hadn't helped the eagle it would of for sure died.

After couple months and surgery the eagle fully recovered, fish and game called my brother and also the Indian tribe leader in the area he was at when he found the bird and they took it back up to an area close to where my brother found it and the Indian gave it a blessing and also gave my brother a special Indian Madelon showing his strength for helping the eagle and he handed it to my brother and he was allowed to take the cover off its head and let it go.

He took pictures of the whole thing and the eagle would not leave right away almost in taking the time to look at my brother and say thanks.

And then took off, coolest thing.
They are a very special bird.

especially to the Indians.

This hobby sucks, when your not flying.

I can't believe that eagle took down a wolf. He did it as though he had done it many times in the past. Very impressive!

A couple of buddies and I went out king Fishing one saturday. When we got back to the dock we were cleaning our fish when e notice some type of heron hanging around that had one wing down by side while his other wing he had sticking about as straight up as he could get it. This carried on for well over an hour. This heron would stay right up under us getting closer all the time. Upon closer inspection the heron had a treble stuck up under his wing right next to his body. My buddy grabbed the heron and I removed the hook. As soon as the hook was gone the heron flew off. It was just amazing how that heron stayed around trying to show us the whole time he had a little problem that he needed our help with. The heron did not act scared or try to get away when my buddy grabbed it. Just goes to show a wild animal, albeit a bird, can and will trust a human on occasion.

Cant speak German so I couldn't tell where that film was shot, but I am guessing Mongolia or Siberia.

Looks like falconry the old skool way so I wonder if they have considered switching to Spektrum or if they like keeping things traditional?
