It is a great little bird. Wait until you get the hang of it and change to the other balls on the swash, for more aggressive flying.

I did that after a few flights. Just what I was looking for in an indoor heli.

Got to have my cup of heli in the morning.

If the wings are traveling faster than the fuselage, it's probably a helicopter.

the MSr is so addicting. I love the little heli

It's a complex, costly, glow powered anti-gravity machine!

Anyone try the metal upgrade parts for this heli? I would buy them if they provided better flight characteristics and not just for looks.

Got to have my cup of heli in the morning.

I have read alot of reports from people that have upgraded to all the metal parts. Some say they think there heli flies smoother and that it is much quieter.

Personally i think it is a waste of money. If any parts break on my heli and there is a metal replacement for it then i will buy one but so far the only thing that breaks on my heli is the landing gear and the blades.

MSR

I just got my msr and it is amazingly responsive. Can't wait to fly outside. One of the wires on the rudder motor broke when i crashed so i had to replace the boom and motor. I saw on utube someone used self fusing tape on the rudder motor to keep the end cap from popping off in a crash, this protects the wires too. Just a little tip.

I have actually heard of people breaking the blade grips so i can understand someone buying the metal version of that one.

Your right, it may be worth the $20 bucks it cost.
Hopmeup on ebay has the best deal on them and ships the next day.
Microheli takes MUCH longer.

I would suggest metal upgrade to add weight to the little bird if you plan to fly outside in even the slightest breeze. If anything +1 on the metal blade grips, when the Msr first came out I broke a blade grip after about 45 flights or so and that included a few outside. But other than that, leave the other ones alone, I feel most are merely cosmetic.

Hello, I have a blade mcx with the stock transmitter and would like to purchase a bnf msr. Will the msr work with the mcx transmitter?
