All it is is practice and training your brain and fingers to realize the needed corrections.

+1 for sim, and practice it always ur thumb will automatically memorise what r u doing. Real life will be different on the trial try to fly it high as long u c can see, and make a contigency plan if u panic, either by applying a negative input on pitch soo u heli will climb up, and make correction either by roll or flip and putting it back normally, be pattience on leraning, dont go lower if u think that u r not conffident yet ...

Sim and first try to do loops, than hover inverted, than just when you get inverted in a loop don't turn back just keep flying inverted.

Fly it like you stole it!!!

Been doing a lot on sim. I can fly and hover inverted, it just seems that I have a hard time remebering movements to get response that I want. It is not "Natural" yet.
Thanks

yeah, mostly everyone got that problem, first i learn on sim, then my poor little 450 is for me practicing it, nearly all my body are shaking, then u need to practice how u want to recover it, then when u get vconfident, try it on bigger heli, in ny oppunion flip is the most easy one to bail out, incase of panic, but make sure u comfortable wit stationary flip

Agree with the above. Even if you are a super-star on the sim...lol...when you start up on 3D moves the thumbs and knees shake like hell....and i remember my own experiences where I planted it into the ground trying the suff which seemed so easy on the sim. Pitty the reset button does not work in real life.

In real life it don't work the same untill your brain learns and adapts to gravity, wind.....and nerves of steel. lol

Real life is much harder than the sim unless you leave your brain at home.

Here's what I do:

From hovering with tail in, I flip the heli back so its nose in, inverted. When the heli drifts to the right, I follow it with the stick to level it back out, like when you bring an airplane in for a landing and you put the stick to the low wing to correct which ever way the wing tips to bring it back to level.
Now when nose-in inverted again, once the heli drifts backwards, think you have to reel it back in by pulling the stick toward you and push the stick away from you to get the heli to go back or away from you.

That's how I did it and then it becomes instict after practice.

Practice makes perfect. Keep working on the simulator and you'll get it.

It's a complex, costly, glow powered anti-gravity machine!
