Alright what is the deal with when I reach the top of a big loop, bring the collective to zero, then on the back side, coming down the thing ALLWAYS yaws to the left and ends up traveling away from me at the bottom? I take care not to input rudder and it happens every time anyway. Is there any mix or something to correct for it? My gyro is set just under the point of a wagging tail. What gives?!

Hmmm...when you bring the collective to zero does that drop the headspeed or are you running a gov? Dropping headspeed may also have the effect of losing tail authority which could explain the yaw. If you run a Gov - then don't know. Provide a little more info - heli type, etc.

If your flying in Idle Up Mode.. Which if your doing loops you should be, then your power will stay the same unless you bog it. When you drop the collective the power does not drop. Usually for me it increase's

Are you sure you are not giving rudder inputs? I had stuff like that happen until I tightened my sticks up. They were pretty loose, and now that I can actually feel them, I don't have weirdness happen any more (except for general lack of ability of course). I didn't think I was giving weird inputs either.

Put 15% of expo's in your rudder stick... It will stop yawing daring the pos neg transition...

It took me along time to figure out I do a ark with the stick and for some reason the loop picks that up more than any other maneuver...

A Rex 700 at 2050 with a gov - well, no problem with tail authority here!

+1 with Hayes - put some expo on the rudder. If it still does it then this one is tough. Do you know someone that's good that can try and duplicate your loop with your heli?

Also make sure the gyro is mounted on a level spot.I had mine mounted on the nose of my Trex 600 (angle) and everytime I did a roll or somthing the tail would move to the left or right.Once I put it on the gyro mount the tail was perfect..Just a thought..Can you post a pic of where the gyro in mounted?

Have a good pilot fly yours and do the loop and see if he has the same experience.
