I just go nut's over this one - {and first let me begin) - I'm not going to purchase another 401 = I got 4 now "Luv Em" == but this little blue lighted align cheapo thing seem's to do to just fine for what I'm doing.

JUST

Any time I make just a "whisker" of a mechanical adjustment on the tail of this 450 - for fine trim - that little gyro gets dumber than a rock and forgets everything and does the Whirley twirly till I rebind - this spectrum DX6 and then It's all back to norm.

Manuals and gyro instructions say yes - that's how you do it -- but it get's old when your trying to get it "all" "just right" perfect

Any way to out smart this thing ???

fwiw...

if you fly in HH...generally after the initial setup there's no need to readjust the mechanics....The gyro can't know anyway...If it caused a major change in the gyro behavior, I'd suspect a binding issue..Mechanical, not electronic...

Sounds like something else is going on....

Thanx John I'll check it again

I had just a whisper touch of left drift, thought I'd add a turn and a half to the linkage and it went stupid. Maybe I disturbed the heli while the RX was booting up.

If the Manual and gyro instructions say do-it, then get it done. Keep in mind you probably already have it 'Just right', so just fly it, You're never going to reach 'perfect'.

If the wings are traveling faster than the fuselage, it's probably a helicopter.

We may never "reach perfect" but we always "preach perfect"..
