My Trex 700 developed a tail wag over time going over 1900rpm. It had virtually no power left. I dare not to admit how much i spent replacing parts including a brand new engine by the time i realized it was the muffler blocking airflow. The muffler must have been clogged up and was building up so much back pressure that the heli had barely the power to fly around. Is there any way to clean or perhaps fix a muffler? I'm not looking into buying a $200 pipe after spending so much money fixing everything else in the heli? Does anybody have experience working on mufflers?

If you bought it from a US dealer, send it to Hatori USA (Rich Sabin). Those pipes don't just clog. If something moved inside, his pipes carry a 2 year warranty.
