Hi guys,

Posting for my mate who has a Logo 400.

The COG is too far forwards and is effecting the V-Bar. The battery packs currently can just about fit under the motor pinion but with the velcro on them they just touch the pinion.

I was thinking of perhaps making the motor higher by using washers as stand-offs.

Is this a good idea? Any other suggestions?

Thank you.

Laurence

Hey guys, I think he is using 3000mah packs.

He bought a Dremel and managed to file the motor shaft down and move the pinion up enough to clear the battery pack okay.

This was my original suggestion but without the Dremel it would have been very awkward.

COG is now spot on with the pack all the way in, heavy packs I guess!

Thanks for the help.

Put a tin or carbon plate on top of the battery
In a crash the pinion and main gear will attempt to rip your battery open

I run 3300 MAH packs on my 400 and can attest to the fact that if you're straps are not tight enough or if you stuff it, then your pinion/motor will instantly turn into a dremel and rip open your packs.

Although I will say that the other day I flew and completely forgot to tighten the straps yet nothing happened.
