I really don't think the carbon fiber is neccesary so I am probably going with the G10 unless there is a good reason to go with the carbon. I'm not sure which head to get, can someone explain the pro's and con's of both to me? Thanks.

I agree with you on the Carbon Fiber part. I am quite content with G10.

Now for which version, IMHO, I would go with the LT. If you want a "better" head that the LT version, then just buy one separate. The LT is $150 cheaper than the HD. You can buy a few different complete rotor heads from century for that price. Swift metal Heads have 8mm spindles in them just like the HD Radikal.

I am just not to sure about the HD head. It seems to add more mass in the head where it is not needed and with the blade grips being so large it is a PITA fitting blades to them that are 620mm.

Just some random thoughts for you.

That's why I was leaning toward the LT head. I don't want a all kinds of spacers on the blades

The kit with the HD head is only $50 more than the LT head.

you need the LT Head for 620 size Blades,, if you use the HD Head you will need thick spacers to fit the 620s..

So is the main difference between the two head designs, just beefier blade grips, or is the head block and feathering shaft bigger on the HD head as well? I'm thinking if I get one I'll be running 620 wide cords. Is the swash the same regardless of head choice?

I agree with the LT recommendation for 95% of us.

The difference is that the HD head is exactly the same head as used on the Predator Gasser and Condor that uses the G260 motor and blades from 710mm to 800mm + blades. This bigger head has some pretty HD blade grips that have a 17mm blade spacing in the blade grips and 5mm blade bolts with a 5mm jesus bolt.

The LT uses the same head as used on their 50NX nitro but with an even bigger spindle (7mm). These blade grips have the normal 14mm spacing and 4mm blade bolts that are found on 95% of the 610mm to 640mm blades it will be used with.

Kit

Get 640's not 620's for the LT head kit. The engine can handle it and the autos need it.
