4.09KG RTF inc lipo.

RKX head cause the 3092 dampers even with extra spacers 1 oring pops out even after changing all grips and bearing it only lasts 4 10 flights or less. Did about 5 sets before i got sick of it.

Metal head is safer anyway. After 2200RPM and 690MM and some crack flips the plastic grips don't hold too long. Yes yes silly me.
Vbar is great cause i can run lower RPM and it flies fantastic, even 2050 is fairly high! 1850 is very enjoyable and plenty of mumbo!

Also put on quick uk tail.

@helicraze: sounds like a real 90
The sdp belt works without a problem at this high rpm?
@4cyclic: The TDR has between 4 - 4.5kg

I'm a fan of light-weight helis. My L600XL has 3,35kg with Hk4025-640, 10s 3,6Ah 30c Turnigy and 693mm Insane blades. I like it more than my VBar-Protos... way more power and incredible fast. Headspeed between 1300 - 1600rpm using throttle curves and mixers...

Only downside really is the belt needs to be replaced at 100 flights to be safe as i got to 180 flights and it snapped in flight, heli spun out of control 5M off the deck and i could not recover, hit only lightly but had to rekit and lipo caught on fire LOL.

Give me a real Logo 700 with TT mikado

Autsch... good to know, just ordered 3 belts last week to be safe
The strange thing was that my first belt was faulty. Worked without causing vibrations or anything like that. But every time load on the main rotor changed, I could hear the belt touching the boom. I build back to 6003D but really a L600XL is way better. So I build back to XL and used the second belt. This belt seams to work fine now...
The only thing I'll replace is the front belt pulleys. I'll try the Raptor CNC pulleys from QuickUK. I read they should work better for a XL belt.

I am unsure why people replace the front pulleys with metal units.

My plastic ones even after 200 flights the bearings are still good but i replaced them anyway.

Probably done over 350 flights in stretched form

Klaus,

do you ever had any problem with the plastik grips at your streched logo? I read many discussions at different places where many people said, that they had problems with the main grips and 690mm blades.

Grips

The pastic grips are pretty beefy...and they probably wouldn't be a real issue...the issue is the 4mm main blade bolts..the stock ones bend with 690's and 710's

I suppose you could drill the grips out for 5mm bolts...but it's easy and cheap to just put a metal head on it instead..

Yes, it´s easy, and i have one new RJX Rigid Head in spare as i use it on my Rex 600N Vbar. But i really like the look of the Mikado head i would love, if i can use it anymore. I never thought about the larger diameter of the bolts. Thanks for your hint!
Do you drill the RJX Head at the hole for the bolt? Cause the RJX 50 Head is also with a 4mm Screw through the main blade...?

I didn't have a problem with my L600 head by now. I'm using the new bolts with shorter thread. The insane blades came with two metal inserts for 4 and 5mm. Of course 5mm bolts would be better...
I don't have that much load (light batteries and no .90 motor) so I think it's not a problem for me. I don't like the look of a metal head on a Logo...

Metal Head..

If you go with an RJX metal head you use the 90 sized one for the Logo 600...the stock logo 600 head is pretty much the same width from hole to hole as most 90 sized heads...

so if you put an RJX 90 head on it you end up with the same disc loading pretty much...if you go with a 50 sized head you actually lose about 20mm or so on the disc size.

might even be more than that...I forget

I always had the oring pop out from the headblock with the mikado head, even after replacing the whole head 5 times it would pop out a bit and cause the headblock to hit the grip bearings.

Unless you run crazy headspeed and soft bolts the 4MM are ok but can still bend.

logo700

Honestly....I haven't touched the logo 700 in weeks now...only logged in like 5 flights total..

Been too cold here for me to get out to fly..rightnow...the heli is set up with a 12s 5000mah hyperion 35c battery setup.

I may try the TP 45c setup I have also ....when it warms up a bit
