FBH = Fueled By Hate = company's name.

My weights, for comparison:
Before FBH = 4912g
After FBH = 4781g
T-Rex 700 = 4658g

FBH saved 131g. I AM still using the two rear cross braces that FBH does not (necessarily) recommend, but I substituted a mini servo for the original full size throttle servo. Now the N9 is only 123g heavier than my 700.

For those that care, 4781g =~ 10 lbs, 8 4/7 oz
Are these dry weights, or fueled ready to rippp...

No its not the FBL. It is even lighter 10lbs for it. There is alot you can do even with the stock N9 to get in the low to mid 10lb range.

Take out the braces and replace them with spacers. This will help shave weight. There are many ways to put your Synergy on a diet. Here is a pic, more in my gallery.

Sorry, nope. Dry tank. It was recommended to me to use the cross braces in the rear because without, too much stress was placed on the boom clamp mounting bolts, thereby breaking them. I was going to use the hex spacers instead, but wasn't sure if they would provide enough support / strength.

This is a flybarred heli with minimal electronics (no regulator, governor box, gyro amp, mini throttle servo, etc.), but I do use a fat 2s2p 3000mAh lipo for balance. This weight does include the canopy.

And, unless we are talking the same language, 10lb, 8oz =~ 10.5lb or still a little heavier than yours. Then again, my scale is just a cheap kitchen scale and I have no idea about its accuracy.

Going to drag this back up, my Synergy is pretty tail heavy at the mo, and I will be looking at a lighter pack sooner, currently a 4200maH 2s2p pack hanging of the front.
Where do you get the hex spacers from to replace the X-Brace on the frame?

They are a Synergy part for the servo tray up front. I thought I could just get them from McMaster Carr but they only have 25 mm spacers. The Synergy ones I believe are 26 mm.

Here they are. http://tammieshobbies.com/litecomme...category_id=259

I run the Synergy carbon frames, they are very stiff. I have had no problems with flex or breaking hardware on the heli.
