Hi,
Just wondering if anyone who has a TREX 600 ESP if they could help me out..I just built up my 600esp,and i have a question if i am running the align rce-b6x voltage regulator that came with the kit and the seperate battery that controls the servos and gyro..and then the 6cell battery to control power up the motor..the stock 100amp speed controller has a built in BEC.From what i understand in the manual it says if you have a speed controller with a built in bec that u have to remove the red wire on the speed controller..Is that what i have to do to the speed controller??
I have no clue what to do..If anyone has this kit can u tell me?
Thanks so much for the help!!
Danny

Unless somethings drasticly changed very recently that Im not aware of, Im 99.999999 percent sure that the 100 amp ESC that came with your ESP does not have a built in BEC, I have the 100 amp ALign ESC the same as you and it does not have inbuilt BEC, so no you dont have to cut any wires, you use the seperate 1900 mah pack that came with the kit to power the servos.

I know the 60 amp that comes with the 500 kit has an inbuilt BEC but you still dont have to cut any wires, I also think the 30 amp Align ESC`s that come with the 450 size helis have inbuit BEC`s, but not the 75 amp and 100 amp that comes with 600 size Trex kits.

I have run both the Align 75 and 100 amp`s in my 600 for years and never had to cut any wires.
