Possibly a dumb question - I am building my Vibe 90SG and I can't find the flybar paddles. The instructions suggest that fybar paddles don't come with the kit. Is this true?

If so, what flybar paddles are you guys using?

I use Rotortech FAI/F3C paddles on my SG. They work just fine.

Hi,

This is a totally personal thing. Just like main blades and the color of your canopy.

I have tried the following on my SG:

V-Paddles 95
RotorTech 3D
Align 3K
CY SuperStubz

and for my type of flying I really like the RotorTechs.

Best is to try different sets of paddles if you can borrow them from your friends, or if you have extra ones and find out which one YOU like the best.

Regards,
G

I use the Rotortech F3C but while the fly very good there is no way
to make them a bit more agile. I think I should have gone with the
RT 3D and use weights to tune them to my liking.

Guys, thanks for the replies! Wow I feel dumb after wasting about half an hour last night searching through the box and bags for paddles!

I'll give a couple of the sets you guys mentioned a try and see what works best.

Guys, I got my rotortech paddles, and they came with 20g weights. Do you guys use the weights? If so, I assume they go as close to the mainshaft as possible, or did you put them right out at the beginning edge of the flybar paddles?

Just asking because I have never used the flybar weights before on any other models.

I don't use them but if you are not sure put them on close to the paddles and move them in from there. - Kris
