How much money do you think you have in the heli total? I'm just wondering how it compares to a Spectra G in price? I know the Spectra is about $300 more dollars for the kit but everything else should cost the same, because you need the same stuff to fly it as the Spectra? If you don't want to say then thats ok. I know my Spectra i have a least $3000 or more in it. I have a Trex 700 and i have around 3 grand in it to. As soon as i get my tax money back i want to buy another gasser it might be a spectra could be a Radikal. One more question how much does it way? I wayed my spectra with a half tank of gas and it ways 13 pounds with the pull start mounted on it and the adapter plate i made.

Thanks for anyinfo

you must have some high end stuff in your birds, my trex 700's are about 1600.00 each and this radical is about 1300.00.as for weight it's 3 pounds less then your spectra full of fuel is a tick over 10 pounds.
but i don't bling my birds, i figure i'm not good enough pilot to need all that bling.

Is there a supplier offering free delivery? I’m looking for the Radikal airframe only and I seem to remember someone quoting free delivery earlier.

Just as I thought free shipping in the US, they also use USPS and that guarantees all the UK loadings will be added this end

The pictures look great. I have been thinking about getting the new Radikal.

It's a complex, costly, glow powered anti-gravity machine!

Cost

You can get a radikal going for less money than their bigger brothers. The lowest cost plastic kit is $500 with G10 frames, other than that you're right everything else is about the same price. I looked and stock G20 or G231 motor is the same price on Horizon, the radio gear you would use the same stuff, between the rx, servos and the gyro and governors.

The century mini muffler or the V4 muffler are the same price, and the rotortech's 620 or 690's are the same price all from Century.

So yes Ivan you're probably looking at about $300 in price difference between the two kits that you speak of, and that is just in the kit price and that's all of the difference. But you can't compare a 90 size heli to a 50 size heli, one with much more metal parts and CF to one with mostly plastic and G10 frames.

The bottom line is that the Century 50 gasser is a lower cost alternative, and it flies pretty well to boot!

It's an alternative but I don’t think it’s a Low cost one.

compared to a 50 nitro it's not cheap but compared to any other gasser it's a bargain. the money you save on fuel will pay for the whole heli in a few months if you fly alot like myself.my hope is i will fly alot more because as long as i don't crash it's almost free

The Airframe would be 579 British pounds = 954.1341 U.S. in the UK, that’s not cheep for a G10 50 size with plastic grips and a belt drive with no blades, nitro or gas it's just an airframe and I can’t just pay more because it fly’s well, it’s a 50 size
For you guys it’s not so bad as you also get cheep fuel.
Happy Flying
