forgot one...

Hack Stick banger

pilot flies the heli all over the place seemingly out of control yet some how not crashing...difficult moves are exectued very UGLY but they are executed...transistions are terrible and very non precise...you always swear the heli is going down at any given point in time and when the heli lands in one piece you just figure he got lucky...

That describes my flying...must be others out there that fit my category

I am a 2 flight basher who doesn't have 2 cents to rub together!

I straighten main shafts, use glue on broken parts, wont buy a fancy painted canopy, wont buy anything that doesn't improve the helis performance (bling).

60% of the time, it works every time!

100% true! he taught me to do all kinds of circuts and then piro'ing funnels/hurricanes. that has opened me up to a hole nother flying style! thanks red!

I don't fit in any of the categories. I don't work on or even clean my stuff there, I do that at home. I fly until there are no more green lights on my 2-in-1, but that can take all day at the club field. The plankers let me have the field to myself, they all fly in groups of 2 or 3, then my turn. So far they have all been cool, and since I only last 9 minutes per flight, it isn't a big deal for them to wait. There are guys who fit most of those categories though, pretty funny.

thats what my wife calls me.
when i fly alone, i fly smooth and controlled and work on new manuvers, but if there is an audience look out I turn into a stick banging basher or was it hacker, i like to think that most my manuvers look good but then most my audiance couldn't tell one way or the other cause i'm the only heli pilot at my feild.

Century heli rep. To much power is never enough.

"The Crash Master"

This is the guy who puts one or two in at least every other time you see him fly - for no apparent reason. One second he's in a simple tail-in hover 20' off the ground, and the next ... yard sale! You're torn between feeling sorry for the guy and wanting to punch him in the face.

I crashed every other day and twice on Tuesdays! I kid you not, there were times when I didn't run a full charge between crashes. Multiple times! I wanted to punch me in the face!

God I am so glad that's over. (knock on wood)

LOOKS LIKE, IN THE END, I AM "FIELD MECHANIC"

NEW GUY- How far, how high, how much.

Well I'm 33% this, I still see a new heli and ask ... How much?

TWEEKER- Nothing is ever right, flies for 1 minute, lands and messes with the radio, flies for 10 seconds, lands messes with radio, repeat. It can be a pain waiting for your turn after this guy.

I'm about 33% guilty of doing this, but only right after rebuilds. Once I have the perfect setup I fly it hard until I crash. Wash, rinse, repeat.

MOOCHER- Cannot do anything himself and wont learn how, constantly borrowing stuff also.

60% Me. I love other peoples glow drivers and chargers. I know how to use the equipment, but I show up with a lot of discharged batteries and missing tools. But I get mooched off of as much as I mooch.

PO BOY- Doesn’t have 2 nickels to rub together but insists on trying to fly heli’s anyway. Fly’s an old TREX 450 that has parts from a blade CP and something that appears to be made from a milk carton.

Not me at all, I need to chill on the purchasing so I don't become one.

COLLECTOR- Has about 27 heli’s, 4 of every model he has, doesn’t fly much because he’s too busy keeping up with all the heli’s he got.

I'm 50% here. I have too many helis but they don't keep me from flying. They are all unbuilt. People at my field will say "you should buy a XXXXX heli." And my answer is "I already have that one. It's at my home." I'm trying to change this one as I realize it is holding me back.

BLINGER- Has the latest of every upgrade that can be found, spends most every night on-line looking for more upgrades to buy. He’s been known to die parts of his heli just to get the perfect color match.

LOL not me at all. I like stock helis. If I want a beautiful heli, I buy a beautiful heli.

BASHER- Tries to destroy the heli in-flight, bam, bam, flies around at like 2500 rpm and is so hard on the thing that it stresses every single bearing in the heli to the max. with every maneuver.

Not me at all. I run helis as the manufacturer told me to.

HOVER BOY- Been flying for 9 years but hasn’t progressed beyond the hover stage.

Not me at all. Seen the type though. They never make it 9 years.

FIELD MECHANIC- Never touches his heli’s at home, does all his maintenance at the field.

I'm 100% Guilty as charged. Who has time during the work week? This is totally me. I've a horrible reputation for it at SHARKS.

HIGHLANDER- There can be only one! I'm right and everybody else is wrong, my stuff is better than your stuff and I know so much about everything, just ask, or dont ask, I'll tell ya anyway.

This is 70% me. I'm an opinionated bastard, but usually keep it to myself unless asked or a discussion arises.
