In your prefs change the # of messages showed per page, mine only counts to 50 so far

I've heard back and forth on the RB innovations supercharger there's been a lot of threads on RR about it. Basically the concensus is they are useless for 2 stroke engines due to the way the fuel/air intake works (no valves to seal the chamber and pressurize it).

Here's a quote from one of the threads:
Rstacy:

We did some testing here and were pretty disappointed with the results. We could not detect any power increase.
The boys from RBB came out and played with somethings but eventually went away.
We tried different pipes and fuels but nothing really made a difference.
A couple of guys tried them on their TMAXX trucks but returned then for a refund.
Again, no appreciable increase in performance.

Two of our members are engine experts and both tell me that that supercharged 2 cycle engine will not work with out significant modifications.

I'm going to OCF around 3 or 4, when the rain is supposed to stop. If it stops sooner I'll be there sooner! If you use weather.com remember to type in 'walden, ny' and not kingston, or wherever. The other day it was raining cats and dogs in Kingston and when I got down to OCF it was dry as could be

I got there around 4, no rain... Some of the other guys had been there since 11 and they said it didn't rain. Sure looked like it wanted to though! I got one flight in, and on the second one the raptor started glitching like mad so I called it a day. The Zagi suffered a high speed impact which snapped it in half so it's toast, which means I'll just have to buy the twin It was in pretty bad shape anyways, Gotta love cheap durable foam!

Grass is looking okay, still needs help. I'll be out of town for a few days this week so I can't pitch in on the watering until maybe Friday.

The story of my Sunday.

I do't know if the crash I had last week was the first christening at OCF or was this one?

Anyhow here is the link if you wish to read all about it.....

You're right about the usefull suggestion quote. It would be a great idea to have a kit around, including trauma gear (temp. sutures and stuff like that) around due to the nature of accidents. Props will create deep lacerations and heli blades create huge contusions, so I would even help purchase one or at least keep one with me.

I know first aid from my time on the ships, I am not able to due CPR, but it's good to have someone around to scrape up your pieces and get you to a hospital. We fly in the middle of the boonies, but not far from a fire department or EMT team. But it would be the few minutes waiting for a ambulance that would matter if your fingers were saved or not.

This is not a big issue, but it is a good idea idn't it? I would have given anything to have an emergency ice pack yesterday. But in time we'll be better off as the club grows. I think Saugerties keeps a first aid kit in the shed at the field.

I hope you are feeling better. I agree....a first aid kit is a must.
