Have fun you guys. Man, you fellas are alot tougher then me. I'm in hibernation mode now. Just building form me. Speaking of that, Al how's the Sukhoi coming along? Any pics?

Also, check out this video from the Arizona Electric Festival. Keep watching, I promise there is some really cool heli action in there.

What do you think, can we try this? LOL.

We were talking about meeting at the field. That's where we do our club business! We do not have formal club meetings. A good thing in my opinion. Cuts down on the politics. As for membership, We are going to wait until spring before accepting any new members. The reason for that is were not sure how many active members will show up this year. The last thing we want is a over crowded field. But you are welcome to visit and fly as a guest. Just make sure you have AMA insurance. That is our club policy.

That thing took a dive late last season. I still have it but I'm debating whether or not to sink more money into it just to have a Tandem Rotor heli. That thing was a hover Queen. I refused to just hover the thing like so many people that have them do. Every time I took it down field my knees would buckle. It seemed as though it was constantly looking for a place to crash

I have been flying a plank though. I have a Hangar 9 Twist that I put an OS50 ringed motor with a MACS pipe into. That's been a lot of fun.

I also added a Stratus to the Fleet. It's running an OS91 C-Spec with the complete Cline mod including the Viper head. It weighs in at a hair over 10 pounds with a half tank of fuel. It swings 710's without the slightest hit of bogging at 11 degrees pitch.

I had a lockout on my Bell 47 which caused the boom to get tweaked. That was when I switched over completely to 2.4GHZ. So now I have the EVO Twins, Stratus, the Trex SE, and the Twist. The Bell 47 will definitely live again, I just have to get the parts. The Vertol.... I'm not sure.

That thing is scary. It's a French built kit plane called a Cri-Cri. Fully aerobatic and rated at something like +10/-9g's.

There's a video of one somewhere with two model turbines on it.

I half expected to see someone on the ground with a Futaba radio

That did look scary although I fly a Robinson R-22. Not much bigger.

Hey fellas, kinda quiet in here so here's a thread on something I'm working on. I'd post it here but posting pics is a PITA.

Got to see Keith's mini Titan fly the other day. I see one of those heli's in my future. Very cool little bird.

Here's a pic from today before I crashed it. I got a little to low doing some aileron tic tics. Tuff little bird, blades and main spur, and 1 servo stripped the gears. onlyraptors.com has parts in stock. The main gym was being used so I flew in the smaller old gym. No one seemed to have a problem, and I had 6 or 7 maintence guys watching. I'm going to get a schedule of useage for the weekends so maybe we could do a foamy/micro fly-in. I will need to talk to someone to make sure it's ok. They even supplied a work bench

Lungs transformed to take in water.
