you definitely benefit more with digital servos since they center better then non-digital

on a flybar system, i didn't like the 5065s that much.

i had a set of ino-lab 202mg, and also a set o 5065mg servos at the same time (on two different birds ). anyhow, i am not in the same class as J Chow, but could tell for sure that on certain moves like the funnel the ino-lab servos held a lot better.

so, i did a ground test - i tried stopping the servo with my finger (for both the hitec and ino-lab), and found out that the hitec servos stalled A LOT easier than the ino-labs

so, i ended up selling the hitecs

i recently tested a 285 against my ino-lab - finger stall test. the ino-lab held it's own better. i didn't fly the 285s, but from what i have heard, they have better centering, less slop, deadband, etc.

i would really like to throw this thing together by the weekend and test it out

You might need to reverse the servos (dont know which default directions Hitec has), but otherwise it shouldn't be much different.

I have tweaked the tail a lot on my Rave lately, will upload the changes when I'm completely done.
(I started to use 450 Pro 61mm blades instead, much better when using 350mm mains)
