I have just got my Vision 50 Competition and want to build it as a flybarless heli.

Has anyone successfully made the mod? I was just wondering what others have done to the ball links on the blade grips to make it work and what the have done for the swash driver.

I have seen a couple of ultimates modded and was also wondering what balls and sized bolts that have been used.

This will be my first flybarless model so am doing it cautiously. any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks in advance

Heya, I seen someone did it with ease on the ultimate,

Now going on Memory i think he/she used one of the ball link standoffs from a spare swashplate he had, Not too sure but ile check up on it for you.

EDIT:

I have an idea... You could always use the Ultimates Metal Hub, and then transfer the metal blade grips over, that would probably be the best way,

As you can see here, he used the ball link stand off from the swashplate and used it on the blade grip

Those plastic guides break. That is how I lost my Vision Ultimate. I got it to the ground in about 4 pieces. I had to tank it as the phasing went nuts when the plastic let go. It was coming straight at me.

I would use a swash driver for safety. I have the RJX Trex 600 head on my raptor 50 flybarless. I will probably use the same head kit for my Vision Competition when I go FBL on the ElyQ.

RJX

You can get the RJX head at Helidirect for around $100 among other places.

Here are some pics of it on my Raptor before I did the conversion to the 50.
