Srimok´ers:
How will be the best way...or the way to use the four fittings of the
cap on the fuel tank, if i am not going to use the preasure inlet
from the pipe, cause I have a pumped engine....I sopouss that is going
to come out fuel from that fitting,but I need it as a preasure out
let.....I am new to nitro,so escuse if it is a silly cuestion

My OS pumped not happy so I took the pump off the engine and run as normal non pump , and it run much better.

After you took the pump off, any other modifications you have made? I have both version and found both cat-eye are different.

When you take regulater and pump out, you have to get the inlet nipple to replace regulater. So basicly it like non pump version. (and I ask my self later why I bought the pump?????) and I thing this will be my last OS. (YS parts is cheaper and new YS91SR3C are pack with animal in side the engine))

i took off the pump and left the regulator on.. easier to tune hence unleashing the power...

Wreckless,

Eventhough the pumped version is easy to tune but the pump on my engine(s)never work consistently. It's unpredictable rich/lean conditions. I've seen most of the top pilots are using non-pump. So, I'd rather go with non-pump and save the fuel for my practicing flights than wasting it with pumped engine.

Go with non-pump

Could you please explain in detail how to change pumped version into non-pumped version?

Do you change motor bottom or just close outlet tube (which is connected to pump) by tube nipple? Do you change idle needle too or just change regulator to inlet nipple? Do you know where I can get an inlet nipple? Can´t find any store that has got the nipple listed.

I am also into removing the pump from the engine.

just bypass the pump and block the back plate of the engine

i dunno if its just my engine, but my 91hz ps is tuned at 3/4 turn hi needle and 6 clicks from 1 turn mid. so far so good.
