hey everyone, well i couldn't give up on my 3x king 2's...just acquired the 3rd one last week...anyway like most out there i tinker around with ideas that i think i can run with, but this time decided to seek knowledge from the little black box...and wouldn't you know there's a company in Taiwan that's built a 500 size coaxial heli, yes i said 500 size!!! couldn't copy pic of the heli so the next best is give the link to their web site...check it out, i'm thinking i just might have to get one...they're looking for a distributor from the looks of it. what do you guys think 'bout it? here's the web address:

www.tech-sov.com

it's called: Helibaby EP500

Okay, it's cool, but lets do a reality check.

The (genral) purpose of a coax is to be a simple, easy to fly, stable heli for the beginners to learn on.

This is being built just to prove it can be. That head is FAR to complex for the average newby to every attempt to rebuild after a crash. And that's assuming that a newb is going to shell out a grand for a heli that he's certainly going to crash.

Might be a market for the insanely curious, who like to collect odd helis, but I don't see me adding one to my stable any time soon.

(I'm secretly wanting either a CB100, or a CB180 ... or both )

There is also Big Lama from Esky. Probably not a 500size but.

it's one heck of a coax...found a thread on rcgroups that was very detailed, very cool, agreed- the repair job on it would be a pain after a crash...ouch!!!my wallet...

And the big lama is an fp, so it's far simpler.
