Why not always keep it on (except for takeoff and landing) and live a stress free life
Because I'm fortunate enough to actually know how to fly my helicopter I guess.

Ok, back to the transmitter issue. Can someone respond to my last post regarding my channel setup? Has anyone rigged a similar setup and what's your configuration if so?

So you say the rest of us uses Helicommand all the time cause we cant fly?

Never argue with an idiot, he'll drag you down to his level and beat you with experience...

Viper, i have almost the same radio setup with my vr360 and HC, do you work solo or with a second man?

If solo, dont you think pan and tilt is hard to control at the same time as you fly? (even if your darn good at flying)

When i do stills now (solo) ive disengaged the pan servo, locked the pan axis straight forward instead, and pan with the heli, it makes it ALLOT easier to keep good the orientation of both camera and heli, IMO

The gentleman's question needed an answer and that was my answer. I don't care if you leave your HeliCommand on all the time or not. I don't see the point though if you can fly an RC helicopter but that's just me.

Daytona, I do everything solo. All of my still work is done with everything locked down (pan/tilt). However, I'll now use remote tilting with a locked pan for still work since some clients need straight down shots. I won't have to dive bomb them anymore.

I'm now getting geared up for panoramic work since a number of industrial firms that I do regular business for are asking for it. I need/want more channels and will let my 2.4ghz conversion ride on top of that purchase. I've been wanting to switch for a while now anyway. I will be able to pan (panos), tilt (stills) and fire (as always) from one unit.

I've never had a second operator nor ever will. It puts me on a schedule and makes my business dependent on someone else to be there with me.
