Unless maybe you're going through a power panel of some sort... Where they are physically/electrical linked through the panel.

The limits its the tx, cause there will not be more channels in the tx than originally, not even with 1000ch rx.
You cant connect iex the rudder channel to the same channel as fex the camera shutter release, kind of obvious...

So they are mixing apples and oranges... agreed, that won't work at all.

This does work for using a self contained mount with it's own separate power supply. This eliminates the wire wrapping problem when panning a mount 360 degrees. Also if you can work out the balance you can remove the mount just to fly the heli without flying for AP.
This exactly how we do it

By the way, I've always shot solo with two receivers...but on 72mhz. I'm converting to 2.4ghz though. Just waiting for the transmitter and two receivers to come in.

Because it wouldn't give me any available channels if I use all 8 on the helicopter-mounted receiver but use an 8-channel receiver on the mount. 1-8 would be reserved for the helicopter receiver, which would only allow 9-14 for use on the mount-mounted receiver.

See what I'm saying? I was told that I could not use Channel 2 on both receivers at a time (as an example)

I wanted two 6014s anyway for a future project. I understand your point though.

Use 8 on the heli. 14 on the mount. Cost effective.
This is exactly what I did on my Logo 600. I'm using all 8 channels on the heli and have channels 9-14 available on the mount. The 608 is a lot smaller and a lot cheaper than a 6014.

I was told that you cannot use channel 2 on each receiver at the same time if they're both bound.
You can, but both RX ch.2 output will do the same thing, i.e., if a servo were connected to each RX ch.2 they would move in the same manner.

With Futaba it is important to use 8 channel or higher RX for both or 7channel and lower. can't mix a 7 channel with a 14 channel for instance.

Here's what I'd like to do....

I. If I keep my HeliCommand (which I never use):

Helicopter 6014HS Receiver
1. Aileron
2. Elevator
3. Throttle
4. Rudder
5. Gyro gain
6. Collective
7. Helicommand gain
8. Helicommand calibration

VR360 6014FS Receiver

9. Remote shutter
10. Tilt servo
11. Pan servo

II. If I sell the HeliCommand:

Helicopter 6014HS Receiver
1. Aileron
2. Elevator
3. Throttle
4. Rudder
5. Gyro gain
6. Collective

VR360 6014FS Receiver
7. Remote shutter
8. Tilt servo
9. Pan servo

I have no doubt that all of this will make more sense when I after I receive my 12FGH and get into it. I just haven't owned a 2.4ghz transmitter until now.

Off topic but to answer your question...I got the HeliCommand about a year ago. I only got it for extra insurance in case I lose orientation on the higher-altitude jobs. (or if a dog is biting my leg)
