Sure hope the weather is warmer than it was today at JaxR/C. My helis did not like it. Almost slipped on the ice this morning.

COLD!

We've decided to get all of the cold weather out of the way early this year; we'll shift to spring weather in late January, just in time for the fly in.

31 degrees this morning. I know you guys in NY are thinking 'That's not bad!' Well, you're wrong - that's COLD!

Terry

Hi guys,

I'll be in Orlando a few days before and after the event, and I really like to attend it. I was wondering if someone could elaborate on the type of event it is. The only heli event I've ever been to is IRCHA 09.

Are there any vendors? Sponsored pilots? Demos? Food? Competition? Prizes?

Thanks,
G

Food yes.

Lots of good pilots.

It's a lot smaller and more personal than IRCHA though, probably 30 guys or so last year.

Worth a trip to hang out? DEFINATELY

Let's get a Pilot Roster going!

We can help Terry out with a Pilot count.
Daytona is a good time and tons of flying!
I guess I'll get it started!

I think I'll fly down just to get out of the cold weather here. I'll just hang out, to much trouble to fly with my machines.

One mile of road will take you one mile. One mile of runway will take you anywhere in the world.

OK. I'll be there then. Does anyone "rent" helis there? I cannot bring any helis over from the Middle East.

Oh man, that is AWESOME. I will be responsible for any damages. If I get only one flight, I'll be happy.

Thanks so so much.

I'm thinking of doing a setup table down at the Beginner's area...if anyone would like some setup or trimming help, look me up. I plan to be there Fri-Sun. Look for the Kyosho banner.

BTW, I have lots of blades, paddles, and tail blades that I just listed here on RR. I can bring them to the event if anyone is interested.

I would like to put out a request for someone that's very familiar with the V-Bar systems (ie, Mikado Reps) to come by the setup/test tent sometime during the event. I think having someone with such expertise on the system would be valuable to have on tap for assistance to new VBAR users and potential customers who may have questions. This also goes for other systems on the market, as well. I do have some first hand experience with GyroBot products, and have the software already.

I will have my laptop available for FBL adjustments and setup, if desired. I will need your latest version of software, though. If not available, I will have the ability to download software via my Smartphone and transfer it to my laptop.

Please PM me if you can assist.

Thanks,
Erich
