Hey everyone!.Has anybody have tested the mini v-bar unit on a larger heli's like a 50 or 90 size?. i'm planning to put a mini v-bar on a 90 size,but still skeptical about really doing it!.Any info in-reguards with the mini v-bar on a larger heli's would be appreciated!.

Tim W uses mini vbar on a henseleit TDR 90 size E heli.

No problems. Look on youtube there is a few vids of it.

The mini-V and the regular v-bar have the same sensors. The primary issue (as I understand it) is that the the additional wires on the mini-V transfer more vibration. In addition, the DSP has supposedly been tuned for smaller heli's and this can become an issue on larger aircraft. If you have a separate power bus for the servos, and only run the control wire for each servo to the mini-V, you might be OK. The future Skookum SK-720 uses this approach for 500 to .90 size heli's.
