I have been back a month now from Iraq and cannot get my helis to fly right! finally got my 90 running right and the main gear got stripped. Had three hard landings with my 600 due to the tail rotor going crazy and spinning out of control. I have three brand new 90s i just dont have the desire to get in the air because of all the incidents.

Think maybe I should just take a break, such a bummer, maybe my helis are mad I left them for a year they flew great prior to deploying

BTW glad you'er back and hope you stay (in the states not w/ heli issues)

Hope to not feel your pain

I think I may have some issues when I get back too. I didn't have time to properly store any of my helis before I left so I know there will be problems. My Raptor 50 and my Rex 700 still have fuel in them.. I was trying to get my wife to empty them but that didnt work out. I think I am going to just do a tear down of my heli's when i get back. Or at least a partial tear down so something like a gunked up engine won't make me trash my heli. Don't give up on it. I go back and forth with this hobby too. I also do the r/c cars to mix things up. Glad you made it back safe.

Man you are having a better month then me if all you are hurting are main gears andhard landings. Heres how my month has gone on the 9th i put my 600 in the dirt because of mechanical failure on the 10 i put the same 600 after rebuilding it in the dirt again do to a brownout situation and mechanical failure, and finally put the the same 600 in the dirt again ( almost total loss this time ) due to learning a new manuver and lost orintation and put it in nose first. Dont be scared to fly it only a few people have had problems with the main gears and i think the new ones are better. happy flying.

Trying not to put them in the dirt.

Just take your time and make sure to do pre-flight maintenance. Thank you for your service.

did someone really just type "fly the heli like a normal heli" really what a retarded thing to say, these helis are designed to fly this way

dont be scared of the 700Ns quality.
it's by far the best of the Aligns.

use the new gear and the updated Align links and youll be fine.

if you have a newer kit you don't need to change anything.

Don't give up on it, just do some pre flight checks on 'em since they were stored for a while.
I just messed up my 700 by hotstarting it (dumbass), but about 10 min later when I knew that I can't fly the 700 anymore I took the 250 up and releived all my stress on it

700 will be up and running on saturday even if it rains frogs I will fly

Fly it like a normal heli...I tried..I'm not a fatass, but whatever I do I just can't fit into the canopy...maybe yoga would help?

He said fly it like a normal heli and you would not have the problems. He never said they were not designed to fly spastic

If it makes you feel any better, I put my friends SG Vibe 90 in a tree after losing it through the tree line.

When I went to say sorry, all that came out was... Visa!

Welcome back FenderBean!
