I am building my first 450 sport, it is the new model with the all metal head. My question is when the head us fully assembled the mixing arms should be level, correct. The linkage rod measurement says 41.5mm but that puts the mixing arm at almost a 35 or so degree angle. Which makes the blades not flat. Should I adjust the linkage rods so the mixing arms are level. Also if someone could take a close up picture or there assembled head that would be great.

Thanks for any assistance.

So long and thanks for all the fish!

The mixing arms should be level at mid stick.

In fact at mid stick(collective pitch/throttle)mixing arms, bell/hiller, and servo arms should all be level. As well blades should be at 0 degrees. Check out Finless Bob vids for the 450 trex. Any heli will be the same actually.

Thanks Michael, as I figured, everything should be dead even. I ahve not built a heli for about 5 years, the last one was a Raptor 90 and it makes this thing look like a tiny little toy, which I know it is not. But the size is so much smaller. Hopefully in a couple weeks it will be flying.

So long and thanks for all the fish!
