pinion mesh

Check your pinion mesh, make sure your up and down alginment is good if its a little bit off it will make a clicking noise and make the motor run hot, also if your up there around 150 to 170 degress thats ok for a scorpion.

Even if the gap between pinion and main is correct you may get a binding gear setup, i had this with a couple of machines.
Because the scorpion has strong mags, the only way to be sure your motor is fitted in the mount correctly is to loosen the pinion on the main gear and check for freewheeling setup. You may have to rotate the motor in the mount a little to get rid of all binding.
The clicking noise you hear is probably the belt, a little silicone oil on the inside will fix this, make sure it's not too tight as that can also cause overheating.

Common sense may not be common after all

i replaced the bearing and fixxed the mesh and its perfect so that was the problem it was so hot it burnt me but now its luke warm to the touch also was a pinion mesh/alignment issue

I am glad to hear you got it working good Voodoo. Keep that Scorpion motor bearing lubed at least every 10 flights.
