Yes. I would ask around for some black plastic raptor paddles. Most people have them but don't use them. Same outcome and a little simpler.

If you can't learn to do it well, learn to enjoy doing it badly.

yes weights make it more stable. You can put the weights all way out for very stable or more close to the head for less table. Make sure to keep the whole stuff balanced otherwise you will get bad vibes

IMO,you sre defeating the purpose by using weights on the carbon paddles.the carbon ones are for making the heli cyclics quicker, thus making the heli more "twitchy".so if you want stability on your raptor, use the black factory paddles and make sure the balls on the pitch arm and washout are set to the beginner's position.but if you're blinging it out and wanting to use the carbons, put the weights close to the paddles and you should be o.k.

it's better to ask for forgiveness than for permission

The align carbons are not that twitchy on a rappy.. I have used them and put my old MA white 3ds back on (more response than aligns)..They are pretty twitchy but thats the way I want it.. Try them with some expo you will probably like it without the weights..
