I have been thinking of covering my servo wire.Can anyone tell me what material is used in these, plastic, or some type of fabric?

There is another type which you can wrap around the wires.They call it cable rwap or spiral wrap

This one can also be wrapped around ALREADY CONNECTED wires and I use this a lot.

I have tried the spiral wrap. I got that from auto zone, and a plastic covering from napa, didn't like either.

JR sells a great black wire wrap, but kinda sucks, the best stuff to use is the expandable sleeving, at the ends after you slide on to the wire you put heat shrink at the ends keeps it from upbraiding.

The expandable sleeving will be the best item you will find with heat shrink on each end.

This hobby sucks, when your not flying.

a buddy and i ordered an entire spool of 1/8" and 1/4" and split it 50/50. it got the cost down, plus we go through a lot.

each spool was about 225 feet worth
